Rock Springs is a new nature walk carved into a wooded area within the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. The name for the project comes from an existing spring long associated with this site and serves as the recharge source for the streambed system. The trees, vegetation along with the addition of a 400’ long meandering streambed, waterfall feature make for a beautiful walk in the woods. With Grotto’s carved into the banks of the streambed, the opportunity to interact w/ the water, along with scenic overlooks placed strategically throughout, Rocks Springs is a Family destination. A submersible pump system is used to create the water flow for waterfall, grotto and streambed effects.
