The Harbor at Rockwall is a premier waterfront development located on the east shore of Lake Ray Hubbard. There are three different water features that were part of this project. In the design of the waterfall feature, there is the illusion that water from the architectural portion of the project empties into the lake when, in fact, these are two separate systems. The waterfall feature is 80 feet wide and is constructed from a large limestone block. In our design, we utilized two 25 HP submersible trash pumps that move water 2,000 gallons per minute. They are skid-mounted and caged, and set in the lake below 12 feet of water, 90 feet out in front of the waterfall. The control systems for this feature are in an equipment room close by.
