Project Description

Goar Park is located in Dallas’ inner suburb of University Park. There are three water feature elements in this project. The architectural feature consists of a two-level circular raised basin structure. The upper basin contains a center cascade nozzle effect that reaches six feet in spray height. The water from the upper basin flows through serrated notches creating an elegant display of water flowing into the lower basin which serves as the source pool. An illusion has been created that makes it seem that water from the architectural feature flows directly into the streambed effect. Pumps and controls are located in a fiberglass vault adjacent to the architectural feature.
