Hyatt Regency Dallas

The Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion hotel’s fountain is located in the lobby of the hotel. GPSI was hired to do a complete fountain renovation. The steel piping originally used for this fountain installation was leaking badly throughout the ceilings in the hotel. The steel pipe was replaced with schedule 80 pvc pipe and fittings. Additional fountain skimmers and suction inlets were added so the fountain basin would meet current safety standards. The pump equipment and controls in the pump room were replaced and the existing light fixtures were totally rebuilt. New features were added to the fountain – a Hemisphere spray nozzle to produce a dome shaped spray pattern at the top of the water wall and spray bars with smooth bore jet nozzles were installed on the side walls in the upper basin to produce an arch spray of water effect into the center of the upper basin.
