Project Description

The Heart Hospital fountain is located outdoors at the entryway to the hospital lobby. The fountain basins are concrete, sealed with black waterproofing. The fountain pumps and controls are located in an adjacent equipment room. GPSI worked with the general contractor and the landscape architect in providing the mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings for this project. In the center of the fountain basin, on a raised concrete pedestal, water flows over and through the concrete top and into the lower fountain basin. Part of the fountain was built with a decorative concrete wall. Four smooth bore jet nozzles are installed in this wall providing a horizontal spray pattern over the center fountain basin. Complementing the fountain wall, there is semi-circular fountain basin with six cascade jet nozzles that provide a vertical spray effect for this feature.
