Your Experienced Water
Feature Contractor

With 40+ years of experience as a specialty construction company, the GPSI team is able to step in at any point in the build process to ensure safety, quality control and ultimately deliver a stunning water feature that benefits the end-user for years to come.

We Prioritize Safety and
Long Term Sustainability

We have implemented a variety of policies and procedures based on our 40+ years of experience that not only keep each project safe, but also keep the project on schedule for all parties involved. It’s also paramount to our team and our partners that we look at the long term use of the feature as well. You can expect the following on a project with GPSI:

  • WBE, HUB and DBE certifications to add diversity to your projects

  • Clear communication throughout the process

  • Daily reports on project progress

  • Job hazard analysis to ensure OSHA safety standards

  • Project manager site visits to maintain schedule with superintendent
  • Pre-pour checklist
  • Owner and maintenance training
  • Standard 1 year warranty

“I’ve already started my project with a Landscape Architect & General Contractor.”

While we prefer to work on a project from design to construction documents, we take on projects that are already underway and in need of a specialty water feature contractor. The earlier we become involved in a project, the more likely we are able to help point out potential problems in the design that could create costly mistakes at a later date. Here are just a few of the advantages of bringing the GPSI team in on the project earlier in the process:

  • Pipe sizing is critical in our hydraulic design. Often, when entering a project in the later stages, the general contractor has already set the number and size of these pipes. If we are brought in earlier in the process, we can make the quantity and size recommendation to save the end customer time and money in the long run.

  • Believe it or not, water features require a myriad of electrical and civil MEP connections. Bringing us in during the planning phases allows us to avoid the need to redirect any sewer and/or conduit runs and again, saves the end customer time and money.

  • Bringing us in during the early stages of a project allows our team to provide a rough estimate on the water feature. This initial estimate can help the end user better manage budget and ultimately keep the project on time and on budget.

Focusing on The Lifetime
of Your Feature

We build water features with the end user in mind. It’s inevitable that a water feature will have issues over time and mitigating the severity of those issues starts with proper planning in the construction phase. We even offer care and service programs so our clients can rest assured that their feature is being maintained properly. Here are few other ways we focus on the lifetime of your feature:

We think about the climate in which your feature will be serviced.
If you don’t make your water feature easy to service, then your feature will not be set up for long term success. GPSI thinks about these details and even goes as far as training your team on maintenance for success.

We focus on the form and function of the feature.
We’ve seen some incredible designs in our 40 years, but sometimes the design interferes with functionality of the feature itself or the ability to service the feature with ease. We bridge the gap between form and function for the long term success of the feature.

We warranty our features for one full year after installation.
After a water feature build, we want to ensure the end user success by walking alongside them through the first year. We record service trainings and even check in throughout the first year to ensure there are no warranty issues and that your feature is running smoothly.

What People Are Saying About Us:

GPSI’s noteworthy attitude amid changing and difficult conditions is a testament to their superior skills in the art of water feature construction and I welcome the chance to work with Carrie Sanchez and the GPSI team in the future.

Thank you for going above and beyond the call of duty to make the project a huge success. We look forward to working with you again in the future.

John Paul DeFrank, Managing Principal of Dallas Architecture, The Beck Group

Since its opening I have heard one compliment after another by our clients and the Cowboys regarding the overall look and feel of the space. The response by the public has been remarkable as well. The fountain has become the destination point we had hoped for as well as a photo op for the guest. All in all great work!

I would like to express my gratitude for making the Esplanade Fountain at Fair park one of the finest achievements I have had the pleasure to be a part of. The staff of GPSI took a time sensitive and politically drive project, and produced a product of the highest caliber. The executive management of GPSI assured me the persons assigned to the project were the best, and would deliver a quality on time and on budget. This was certainly the case.

Your entire staff was exceptional in the performance required and teamwork necessary to bring this project to reality, and we look forward to working with out on many more projects in the future.
